My current rank is Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt).
In Japan I am privileged to train at Shiseikan, the private dojo at the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo, Japan, under Minoru Inaba Sensei, 8th Dan.
In California I train at
Shisei Aiki Dojo
in South San Francisco,
and assist
teaching the
Kashima Shin-ryu
Japanese sword technique and its relationship to Aikido,
some weekdays at lunchtime and Monday-Friday evenings at
Shisei Aiki Dojo.
I'm also the publisher of a new book: Transparent Power, the biography, history, and philosophy of Yukiyoshi SAGAWA, one of the outstanding martial artists of Japanese history.
